Do those self-help hypnosis tapes work?
I've been given some tapes from a friend and I just started listening to them last night. They are suppose to hypnotize you, but when it says 'sleep' I never do fall into a trance...? Do these tapes work just by listening or do you have to fall into a trace for them to work.
Self-Hypnosis in itself is very difficult and if you have not studied how self-hypnosis works just listening to a tape will not help. However, there are subliminal tapes that work fantastic and you can find them to help you in just about every part of your life. Although you should buy them with caution as there are many that are just useless, they are nothing more than sounds of nature or something similar that claim to have subliminal messages in the recordings. I have had tremendous results with certain programs. Dick Sutphens programs are the best I have ever come across. I listen to these cds as I drift off to sleep at night and I put my cd player on repeat. Another form of mind stimulating cds are Neuro-Linguistic Programming cds. I have had great results from listening to these as well. You should read up on Neuro Linguistic Programming as the whole concept is incredibly fascinating and there have been hundreds of studies proving the effectiveness of NLP. I hope you give these suggestions a try as I believe you will be quite surprised at the results that you will experience.
